N-a-t-u-r-e!

Spring is here!  The weather is gorgeous!  In Memphis, the pollen has arrived, our cars turned green and it was time to slather on the sunscreen and head outside.  Holden has inherited my love of the outdoors and unfortunately Will's allergies (we think).   He's been snotty and had watery eyes but I'm hoping it's another cold picked up from mother's day out.  We will know in a day or so.

Last year, Will and I planted a vegetable garden out front.  This year, we had a tree taken down out back which gave us a great spot for a garden in our back yard.  Woohoo!  This left a space in our front yard that used to be a vegetable garden but is now a weed garden.  Not so great for us but Will showed Holden the joy of blowing on dandelion fluff.  He had a blast pointing out all the weeds that needed to be picked and collecting them.  I grabbed the video camera and filmed through the blinds, so I apologize for the poor quality...

Of course, after this wonderful discovery, Holden wants to go outside EVERY day, ALL the time.  I wouldn't mind, except its exhausting chasing a toddler out of the street all day long while 7 months pregnant. :-)  The next day, I sent the boys back outside while I cooked dinner and managed to capture some great pics.  Holden is getting much better at blowing the fluff off these new toys.
