1. Screened porch: the roof is on, the electricity is in, the walls are up and I am given the task to paint the eaves and walls. After eaves are painted, we will be able to screen it in. And Dad will hang the 8ft custom screen doors. It is going to be so awesome! On to phase 3 - the outdoor kitchen. Hubby has his eyes on some snazzy outdoor cooktops. We'll see what develops.
2. Jewelry launch party went well. Not a ton of people showed up but those who did SHOPPED. It rocked. I'm looking forward to my next trunk show and setting up more. It's so fun. I also have more samples coming my way which I can't wait to see!!! I'll post my fave.
3. My baby still doesn't freaking crawl. He tries, get pissed off and then cries at me. He'd rather hold your hands and walk. My back prefers that he crawls. I just moved the coffee table away so there is more play room/ rolling around room for him.
Mommy mistakes so far this week: The power went out this weekend and we decided to go grocery shopping at Walmart to kill some time. Don't ask me why. I'm not sure. I should have sent Holden with dad and taken a nap. In all the fury and excitement of seeing really big trucks jacked so high our sedan could park under them, I forgot to feed my baby. I thought he was tired when he got pissy in the store. On the way home, I realized he missed his afternoon snack. *sigh* Bad, bad mommy.
