The latest...

We have had a busy few weeks in the Fisher family! Holden started Mother's Day Out a few weeks ago. He had a great time meeting new friends and while he did take some time adjusting to the noise of crying babies, he seems to really be enjoying it. I'm enjoying free time to clean the house. fun! Here lately, I've spent my free time packing, unpacking and then packing again! Last week, we hit the beach with Oma and Opa and Holden really enjoyed it. He spent some time clutching the sand and really trying hard to figure out why it didn't stay in his hand. That kid is a very thoughtful problem solver. It is so amazing to watch him work things over in his head already. Will took him to play in the waves, which had him giggling away. I think last week was a great bonding time for father and son.

Holden has perfected his crawling technique and cruises all over the house these days. He also loves his evil walker and has learned how to cruise around objects and corners at a good speed. Don't worry, he is closely monitored in that evil thing.

This weekend, we are off to Knoxville so Holden can meet his other great grandmother. Isn't he lucky to have TWO in his life?

Oh, and the screened porch is nearing completion. Holden is excited to be able to hang outside mosquito free this fall!

On to the pictures!!

Did I mention that Holden caught a little runny nose his first week at Mother's Day out? Well, after a faceplant in the sand, it became pretty obvious. Rinsing this off was NOT his favorite activity of the day...
