Big exciting weekend...

Well, it finally stopped raining here. It rained for 17 straight days or something crazy. Since the sun was shining and the temps were cool, we decided to finally get out of the house. The Fishers packed it up and headed to the zoo, where Holden checked out the farm animals. Next week, we will get to see the new Bear exhibit, called Teton Trek. I think Will is more excited about it than Holden. We'll see on Saturday who makes the most noise, though.

Speaking of noise, Holden has entered a new phase were he screams at the top of his lungs for no reason. He can be excited, sad or especially mad and he will YELL. It's funny and sometimes a little embarrassing when we are at Target or the grocery store. Fortunately, he is so cute that most strangers smile and wave. We are up to 7 teeth, 4 on top, 2 on bottom with another coming in. He is pulling up and crawling like crazy.

After nap, we went for a Sunday drive in the burbs, where every other car is a minivan and the good schools are free. We found our dream neighborhood with a community pool, tennis courts and quiet coves where Holden can ride his bike and I won't have to worry quite as much. They are still developing this area and all the houses are brand new but not cookie cutter like a lot of developments. We went in one Open House where the builder lives and he had a very friendly cat. Well, we didn't really realize that Holden had never seen a cat. Poor kitty hopped up on the table and meow-ed at us and Holden started screaming! It was too funny. He was pretty freaked out and I did my best to show that it was ok by petting the cat, and talking to it. Holden kept his wary eye on that animal for the rest of the tour.

Once we got home, it was dinner time and Will and I enjoyed our favorite new face:

And here is some bonus footage:
